By accessing and using payslipiq.co.uk/ie (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These Terms create a legally binding agreement between you and PayslipIQ (“we”, “us”, “our”) for users located in the Republic of Ireland.
PayslipIQ provides a free, informational set of payroll tools for users in Ireland. The Service lets you upload a photo of, or enter figures from, an Irish payslip, RPN, P21 Statement of Liability or Employment Detail Summary and receive an automated check against published Revenue rates and thresholds for the current tax year. We also publish guides written for an Irish audience and an Irish-localised set of calculators (PAYE, USC, PRSI, pension, take-home).
We may also offer paid products such as the PayslipIQ Pro Report. Paid products are subject to additional terms presented at point of purchase.
The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only. PayslipIQ is not a registered Irish tax adviser, accountant, solicitor or financial adviser. Nothing on this site is regulated tax, financial or legal advice. Analysis results are automated estimates based on the data you provide and the published 2026 Revenue figures, and may not capture every individual circumstance. Always confirm any decision against Revenue myAccount, with a Revenue-registered tax adviser or with the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) for employment-rights questions. Citizens Information also publishes free, plain-English guidance.
While we keep our Revenue, USC and PRSI rates and thresholds up to date, we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, currency or reliability of any analysis result. PAYE, USC and PRSI calculations are complex and depend on factors that may not be captured by our tools. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
You agree to:
To protect the Service, the analysis tools are limited to a small number of requests per IP per hour. Abusive or automated traffic may be blocked at our sole discretion. We may also impose a global daily ceiling on AI-processing calls; if reached, the Service will display a friendly “come back later” message.
All content on payslipiq.co.uk, including text, guides, design, branding, code, and the “PayslipIQ” name and logo, is the intellectual property of PayslipIQ or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, transmit or create derivative works of this content without our prior written permission, except for personal non-commercial reference.
You retain ownership of any payslip, RPN or other tax document you submit. By submitting, you grant PayslipIQ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process the data through our infrastructure and our AI sub-processor (Anthropic Claude) for the sole purpose of returning analysis results to you. We do not retain payslip data on our servers. Our processing is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018. The supervisory authority for users in Ireland is the Data Protection Commission (DPC), dataprotection.ie. You can read more in our Privacy Policy and Trust Centre.
To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, PayslipIQ shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any analysis result. This includes, without limitation, financial losses, missed Revenue refunds, Revenue penalties, employment disputes, lost data, lost profits or business interruption, even if PayslipIQ has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Irish law, including under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980 or the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time without notice. Planned maintenance windows will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The current version is always available at payslipiq.co.uk/ie/terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them, the Service or their subject matter or formation are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland.
You and PayslipIQ irrevocably agree that the courts of Ireland sitting in Dublin shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim. Nothing in this clause limits a consumer's statutory rights to bring proceedings in their country of residence.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, Advertising and Disclosure Policy, and any product-specific terms presented at purchase, constitute the entire agreement between you and PayslipIQ regarding the Service.
For questions about these Terms, please email legal@payslipiq.co.uk or use our contact page. For questions about how we handle your personal data, you may contact our data protection lead at the same address. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
